The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will need to make the most of what they did last week in their 20-10 win over the Crusaders by coming in this week and preparing as well as they can for the Chiefs.

This is according to coach Mick Byrne who says they have done that well and the physical nature of their training was exceptional this week.

He says they always worry after a good victory whether there would be a bit of hangover around their attitude towards training but the team really showed determination this week to go again.

Byrne says that in itself sets their week for them.

He says the challenge this week against the Chiefs is to start well.

The Drua will take on the Chiefs at 6.30pm this Saturday in Waikato in round 4 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

In other matches this weekend, the Crusaders will host the Hurricanes at 6.05pm tomorrow, the Rebels will play the Reds at 8.35pm tomorrow, Western Force will take on Moana Pasifika at 11pm, the Highlanders will host the Brumbies at 3.35pm Saturday and the Waratahs will play the Blues at 8.35pm Saturday.

The Drua Women will take on the Reds in their first match of the 2024 Super Rugby Women's season at 3.35pm this Sunday in Ballymore, Brisbane.

In other Super Rugby Women’s matches this weekend, Western Force will take on the Rebels at 8.30pm Friday and Waratahs will play Brumbies at 6.05pm Saturday.
