The Fiji Rakavi Football Union is currently powerless as all the authority still lies with the Fiji Rugby Football Union Board Trustees.
Fiji Rugby Chairman John Sanday confirmed this saying when they were elected on November 9th, the Articles of Association stated very clearly that they are to take control and make decisions.
However Sanday says they have not been able to do this.
Sanday says in terms of their leadership they are hearing more about what is happening through the media.
The FRU Chairman says this is in terms of the game played domestically, the commercial side as well as the global aspects of where they want to take the game.
He says to an extent this has also caused the delay in the naming of the Vodafone Fijiana 15s coach.
Sanday says they have had a strategy session where they have appointed their sub committees which will appoint or recruit these coaches.
The Women’s Rugby World Cup will be held in England between from 22nd August to 27th September this year.
