Good news for the workers of Warwick Hotels and Resorts who received a 4.5 percent increase in wages and allowances.

This is after the National Union of Hospitality Catering and Tourism Industries Employees successfully signed an agreement with the Warwick Group of Hotels.

This includes Warwick Fiji, Naviti Resort, Tabua Sands, and Tokatoka Resort.

The signing took place yesterday at Warwick Fiji, with Daniel Urai, the General Secretary of NUHCTIE, and Tammie Tam, Senior Vice President/Executive Director Pacific of Warwick Hotels and Resorts, both present.

Additionally, the increase will be backdated to the 1st of January 2025, ensuring that workers receive the benefits retroactively and covers union and non-union members.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in the commitment to improving the welfare and working conditions for workers in the hospitality sector.
