People living in parts of Suva, Samabula, Tamavua, Nabua, Lami and Nasinu are already experiencing low pressure to no water supply.

The Water Authority of Fiji says if you live in the affected areas you should expect disruptions until further notice.

WAF says water supply production at their Tamavua Water Treatment Plant has been impacted due to high turbidity or dirt in the water experienced by the Waimanu River last night.

It says current reservoir levels are still healthy but is steadily decreasing.

We have spoken to residents who are already experiencing low pressure.

Some have been without water since last night.

Affected areas in Tamavua include upper Ragg Avenue, Mika Dreu Place, Pathik Crescent, Amputch Street, Princes Road, Samabula, Mead Road, Nailuva, Delainavesi, Panaromic, Uduya Point, Waiqanake, Osonabukete, Ben Naiveli and Veisari.

People that get their water supply from the Flagstaff Reservoir are also affected.

These include Ratu Sukuna Road, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Muanikau Road, Laucala Bay Road, McGregor Road, Domain Road, Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese, Amy Street, Johnson Street, Spring Street, High Street, Stewart Street and Brown Street.

Please store water now if you get your water from the Nasinu Reservoir.

Affected areas include Kinoya, Caubati, Manohan, Centre Point, Laucala Beach, Nokonoko, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal, Fletcher, Mukta Ben, Vesivesi Road, Bryce Road, PRB Raiwai, Nairai Road, Lees Road.

Please call 5777 if you need a water carting truck to come to your area.
