People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka

There will be no violence and bloodshed in Fiji irrespective of the outcome of this general elections.

This has been highlighted by the People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka in a video posted up on the People’s Alliance page while responding to the FijiFirst Party Leader, Voreqe Bainimarama’s comments that there could be bloodshed.

Rabuka says the RFMF and Fiji Police Force are there to maintain the law and defend Fiji and not the FijiFirst Party.

He says the Commander has stated that the RFMF will respect the wishes of the people.

He adds the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Fiji Police Force work for the people of Fiji and not for Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum.

Rabuka says true patriots of this country will not be swayed by the politics of fear and the People's Alliance does not believe that they need to incite violence.

Rabuka says the people believe that we are all in this together and that there is no time for discrimination or ethnic fear mongering.
