Students of Nadarivatu Secondary School receive bunk beds and computer desks

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere yesterday handed over 20 Mahogany bunk beds and three computer desks to students of Nadarivatu Secondary School.

While speaking to the students, Ratu Wiliame says the beds and desks are support tools for the students, to make their stay in the hostel more comfortable, and their studies more convenient.

The President also says that the combined efforts from stakeholders in the long run contribute positively to the economic progress of our nation, as the efforts are aimed at helping students to excel in their academic pursuits before they choose their own career paths and achieve their dreams when they leave school.

He also reaffirmed the Fijian Government’s position in making education free.

The President also thanked the Fiji Hardwood Corporation Limited for providing the timber, and the Ministry of Forestry for building the beds and desks.
