Knowing the struggles that most Fijian rugby supporters back at home and the length that they go just to find a way to watch us play and support us is what motivates us.

This was highlighted by Fiji Water Flying Fijians captain Waisea Nayacalevu as Flying Fijians look forward to playing Portugal in their final 2023 Rugby World Cup pool match tomorrow morning.

Nayacalevu says most of the supporters in villages usually walk distances to try and get internet connections and signals just to at least watch their games.

He says this is a big booster for the team.

Nayacalevu says the game tomorrow is going to be special for them as well as Fiji will be celebrating independence week and they want to make it memorable for all Fijians.

He says the team is treating this game as their final because if they win they progress to the quarter finals and if they lose, they pack their bags and go back home.

The Flying Fijians will take on Portugal at 7am tomorrow in Toulouse.

Fiji only needs 1 point from this match to progress to the cup quarter finals.

Meanwhile, Wales has topped pool C after defeating Georgia 43-19 early this morning while England escaped from the jaws of defeat edging Samoa 18-17 in their pool D encounter.

In the upcoming RWC matches, Japan will play Argentina at 11pm tonight while Tonga will take on Romania at 3.45am tomorrow.
