The stage is set tomorrow for the Fiji Day Food Fair 2020.

Lead Organiser and owner of The Rotisserie, Felisha Tuiloma says the Food Fair is a day they have created for everybody to come and enjoy and celebrate Fiji’s 50th Independence.

Tuiloma says there will be a total of 70 vendors and other small businesses including ride operators, face painters, entertainers and cultural performers.

Essential services which includes Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, Fiji National Provident Fund, National Fire Authority and St. John’s Ambulance will also be part of the Fair.

She says other community support will include local musicians by CFL radio stations, Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam.

Tuiloma says the Prime Minister will also be participating in the tree planting program where the children from Kid’s First Kindergarten will be involved in planting 50 seedlings.

The Ministry of Forestry will be presenting the 50 seedlings at the fair plans to embark on its 30 million trees 15 years tree planting initiative on the day.

Each seedling will be tagged and replanted later on in the Fiji Sports Council facilities with the names of the children tagged to each of their trees.

The Fair will start from 8am to 8pm at the Fiji Sports Council Car Park in Laucala Bay, Suva tomorrow.

The main objective of the Fair is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of independence in a big way and also to support Small to Medium Businesses across Fiji during these challenging times.
