Sai Prema Foundation and Digicel Fiji donate food to St. Mina’s Children’s Home

St. Mina Children’s Home is a social welfare organisation working together in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and they take care of children in need of care and protection.

The Sai Prema Foundation along with Digicel Fiji have teamed up and donated a month's worth of grocery supplies to the Children of St. Mina’s Home in Nadi.

Father John Abdelmalek of St. Mina Children’s Home says he's very grateful to the Sai Prema Foundation and Digicel Fiji for organising the food for the children.

Founding Trustee of Sai Prema Foundation Fiji Maya Tappoo says they were very humbled to receive the opportunity to be able to help St. Mina’s Home.

She says they are grateful to Father John for allowing them to help the children because we all must do all that we can to look after them.

Tappoo adds they are grateful to Digicel for partnering with them and donating all the food items.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed says they thank the Sai Prema Foundation for the great partnership in reaching out to the needy.

He says they want to make a difference in people’s lives and they are very happy to be able to assist the underprivileged in the community.

Mohammed says that they are donating a month’s grocery supplies and he will increase this to cover for two more months.
