Resonance Entertainment making history by paying bands under its brand

Resonance Entertainment is making history one beat at a time as the various artists who work under their brand are getting paid, and having their FNPF deducted which is a new norm for musicians in Fiji.

Resonance Entertainment Director Apakuki “Kuki” Nalawa says he is glad and blessed to have an amazing pool of artists under his brand whom they have been working with over the past few years.

Nalawa says it is about time they showcase their talent to Fiji and the world and get paid accordingly.

Nalawa says the whole purpose of setting up Resonance Entertainment was to help set up a platform for artists who want to pursue music as a full-time career because they know fully well the struggles musicians face in the industry in Fiji.

The first-ever women band Marama is one of those that come under Resonance Entertainment and has received major positive feedback from fans in Fiji and across the world through various social media platforms after their debut stage performance at the Miss Hibiscus 2024.

The group has been working under the guidance and mentor of Kuki.

Groups that come under resonance include Inside Out, Marama Band, Vegas 6, and Fo Sho to name a few.

Kuki says they are a one-stop music entertainment shop from artist management to live shows, live production setups, sound systems, gear hire, studio production, songwriting and composing photography, graphics, and videography.
