The Koronivia Business Council has acknowledged the quick action from the Police in setting up a specialised police unit within the area, which marks a crucial step in addressing escalating security concerns.

Council President Amitesh Deo says they are heartened by the Police's prompt action and commitment to enhancing the safety of their residents, and this collaboration underscores the importance of unity in tackling security challenges.

He says the Council, in close partnership with the officers stationed at the newly installed police unit, continues to provide support and resources essential for effective service delivery.

Deo says their commitment to ensuring the success of this initiative remains steadfast, and they are actively engaged in supporting the officers with the necessary resources to bolster their capabilities.

He adds the setting up of this specialised police unit signifies more than just increased security as it symbolises a partnership between the community and law enforcement, fostering a shared responsibility for the safety and well-being of Koronivia residents.

The Council encourages the community to actively engage with the officers and collaborate in safeguarding their neighbourhoods.

The Koronivia Business Council extends its gratitude to the Fiji Police Force and its support in the ongoing efforts to maintain a secure environment within the Koronivia community.
