President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, has reminded the 134 Fiji National University Labasa Campus graduates to always strive to give back to their communities and the country.

He says as their educational and professional status grows, they should never forget their parents, families and communities who supported them throughout their life.

Ratu Wiliame says in all they do, they must be transparent, diligent and professional in their conduct and be a team player, be effective problem solvers by being critical and creative thinkers, humble leaders and passionate workers.

He further says education is a powerful agent of change, and when we educate doctors and medical service providers, we improve our health and medical services as well as livelihoods through the programmes rolled out by this sector.

The President says education contributes to social stability and drives long-term economic growth and in turn, economic development.

He also advised the graduates that when they enter the workforce, they must treat their work as a calling to serve and a purpose to share their abilities and what they have learnt with those around them.
