Rabuka said in a press conference today that the comments made by Bainimarama against him could incite people and communities.

He also says he is filing the report as a citizen and as the holder of a constitutional office as the comments could be seditious.

When approached by Fijivillage, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama says a lot of people are not privy to what transpired in 2000 especially Rabuka’s participation in the first couple of days and the events during the November 2nd mutiny.

Bainimarama says “I say bring it on as it is a wonderful opportunity to open the investigation reports and let the public know the type of man Rabuka really is.”

Meanwhile Rabuka says that he has also filed a complaint with FICAC in relation to donations made to the FijiFirst.

Rabuka says he has filed the report as he wants FICAC to investigate whether the people who donated to the FijiFirst followed the law.

He says he has filed the report based on the Donations List of the Registrar of Political Parties.

Rabuka says he is now leaving it to FICAC and Police to investigate these reports.
