Queens Road from Wainadoi to Mango Bay is now clear and accessible to all traffic.

The Fiji Roads Authority says drivers should drive carefully when travelling to these areas.

Meanwhile, some villages in Serua are still flooded including Korovisilou, Vunaniu, Nabukelevu and Talenaua.

Korovisilou Village Headman, Ratu Imitai Qaranivalu Sokosoko says with the high tide coming in at noon, their village was badly affected by floodwaters.

He says the villagers are taking shelter at Ratu Latianara College as their evacuation centres have been flooded.

Police, the NDMO and the Fiji Roads Authority are working together in the sharing of information to get help to those in need, as reports of flash flooding continue to be received.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure with the associated clouds and showers affects the country till Friday.

Expect associated clouds and showers over Lami-Suva-Nasinu-Nausori-Korovou-Rakiraki, the interior of Tailevu North-Naitasiri, Coastal and Interior of Nadroga/Navosa-Serua/Namosi, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.

The Fiji Met says isolated thunderstorms with heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas.
