Queen Victoria School will be a force to be reckoned with in terms of the track events at this year's Coca-Cola Games that will be held from tomorrow to Saturday.

Although they finished second in the Tailevu Zone this year, they dominated the track events.

They won most of the medals including the seniors boys' blue ribbon event.

QVS finished behind zone winners Ratu Kadavulevu School with 19 gold, 15 silver and 11 bronze.

During the Coke Games last year, the boys from Matavatucou finished fourth with 3 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze.

Senior boys' sprinter Senirusi Rauqe will be one of their gold medal prospects, providing the challenge in the blue ribbon event which was won by Suva Grammar School's Semisi Caginivalu last year.

Rauqe scooped the blue ribbon title at the Tailevu Zone meet this year running a manual time of 10.70 seconds.

The QVS sub junior, intermediate and senior boys' 4×100 metres relay team will also be medal prospects for the school at this year's Coke Games after winning gold in their respective events at the Tailevu Zone meet.

Marist Brothers High School and Adi Cakobau School are the defending champions of the Coca-Cola Games in the boys' and girls' divisions respectively.
