The players are under no illusions and they know they are up against a really good Brumbies side in Suva tomorrow.
These were the words of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson as the team gears up for their round 1 clash against the Brumbies.
Jackson says it is going to be a tough game, but they are excited about it.
When asked about the rainy conditions in Suva over the last few days, Jackson says the Drua loves the rain, the sun, and the heat, so whatever comes, he knows the players are just excited to get out.
He says it's been a long pre-season, they have trained under all conditions for the last 16 weeks and weather has been up and down, and whatever brings tomorrow, they are just looking forward to getting out there.
When asked about the debutants, Jackson says they are expecting some excitement from them.
Fijian Drua CEO Mark Evans says he feels the Brumbies have set the standard in Australian rugby for a long time now, they have been incredibly consistent, and they are never a poor team.
Evans says he cannot recall a poor Brumbies team as it has never existed. He says they are always strong in the set pieces, although the Drua challenged them a lot in the scrums last year away in Canberra.
The Fijian Drua will host the Brumbies at 3.35pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
In other matches, the Crusaders will meet the Hurricanes at 6.05 tonight, the Waratahs will take on the Highlanders at 8.35 tonight, the Blues will face the Chiefs at 6.05pm tomorrow, and the Force will play Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm tomorrow.
