People in Lami continue to face water cuts for the second day now, and concerns are being raised on why water supply disruptions are faced in areas like Lami, Tamavua, Tacirua and Samabula almost on a weekly basis.

Residents from Lami Village contacted fijivillage News voicing their frustrations because there was no warning from the Water Authority of Fiji and to make matters worse there is no truck to deliver water for the second day now.

Lami Village resident Apakuki Duri says its a constant struggle for a big family like his because he is living with his extended family and water is a need for them and the hundreds of people in the village.

Duri says they have called WAF and they are still waiting and hoping for water to be restored.

Many people are saying they are tired getting the same old reason of turbidity issues.

They are asking what is being done to fix the problem as this remains an issue for years.

Some people are frustrated saying that they are being told the budget is allocated to fix the water cuts however the problems continue to persist.

They are also asking why constant updates and timely disruption notices are not being given by WAF, and say one press release or a post on facebook is not enough.

We have sent questions to WAF.

They are yet to respond.
