With the country seeing an increase in COVID-19 cases daily and the need for less movement, MH and Max Val-u supermarkets are now offering people the convenience and safety of shopping from home through their online shop www.mh.com.fj.

People can purchase online and pay remotely with M-PaiSA, MyCash, International Debit and Master Card.

For shopping over $200, there is a free delivery within 5km radius of any of the MH or Max-Value outlet.

The Director Retail and Marketing of Carpenters Group Fiji, Kunaseelan Sabaratnam says they are about to finalize a deal with a local bank whereby people will be able to pay for items using their normal ATM cards.

He says buying things online has become a common practice among millions of people around the world and this phenomenon is fast becoming a way of life in Fiji as people have begun to realize the importance of physical distancing to protect their families from COVID infection.

Vodafone Fiji’s Head of eCommerce Shailendra Prasad says today’s consumer is seeking greater freedom and the ability to do things at their convenience and with the COVID pandemic they are also seeking safety in shopping.

He says they are very pleased to partner with Fiji’s largest and longest serving supermarket chain, MH and MaxVal-u to offer both their customers the convenience and safety of shopping.
