The Fiji National Provident Fund will have limited services at all its offices around the country from tomorrow and the only services that will be available at FNPF offices are for funeral and medical withdrawals, as well as cashier services.

Acting CEO, Viliame Vodonaivalu says they are also waiving the pension renewal certificates that are due this month and May adding the pensioners belong to an age group that are highly vulnerable to the coronavirus, therefore, they will not need to visit FNPF offices to renew their pension certificates because FNPF will process their pensions as scheduled.

He says as part of their response to the imminent threat posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on movement within the Fund’s premises was implemented yesterday and will be in place until the national health restrictions pertaining to the pandemic are lifted.

Vodonaivalu says they encourage members and employers to conduct their business online through FNPF’s digital platforms.

The Valelevu Agency will close from tomorrow.

Members are requested to adhere to the health protocols by wearing face masks and comply with temperature checks when visiting FNPF offices.
