The Vodafone Flying Fijians have lost to Australia A 32-18 in their second game of the Pacific Nations Cup at Churchill Park.
Fiji started off well with Seta Tamanivalu scoring in the first half and captain Levani Botia getting a try just before half time.
Teti Tela missed a few penalties and conversions in the first half and was substituted by Ben Volavola in the second spell.
Fiji’s final points came from a try to lock Api Ratuniyarawa with Volavola missing the conversion.
Filipo Daugunu scored one of Australia A’s four tries.
The Flying Fijians will face Samoa in a must-win game at next Saturday at 3.30pm Churchill Park.
Meanwhile, Samoa has defeated Tonga 34-18 in their second game to top the PNC standings.
