Natabua High and Jasper Williams High extend their lead in boys and girls division of Lautoka Zone

Natabua High School has dominated the 200 metres boys division by winning three of the four grades.

Natabua’s Nemani Mudreilagi won the senior boys race with a time of 21.47 seconds adding it to his 100 metres medal from yesterday.

Alipate Vuiwakaya from Natabua won gold in the intermediate grade.

Luca Goneyali from Central College won gold in the Junior Boys.

Laisiasa Tuicuvu from Natabua won gold in the sub-junior grade.

In the senior girls 200m Vika Bavui of Jasper completed her double after winning the 100m finals yesterday.

Bavui ran the 200m final with a time of 26.90 seconds.

With 2 gold medals each, Bavui and Mudreilagi have put themselves as front runners for best male and female athletes of the Lautoka Zone.

Looking at the medal tally, Natabua has extended its lead in the boys division with 22 gold, 17 silver and 7 bronze, Tilak is in second place with 4 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze while Lautoka Andhra Sangam College is third 3 gold and 4 silver.

Jasper Williams has also extended its lead in the girls division with 25 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze, Natabua remains in second place with 8 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze while Saith Thomas High School is third with 4 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze.
