Local business Nama Fiji has launched its much-anticipated products in Hong Kong with Oh Glow HK, an e-commerce platform showcasing premium beauty brands from around the world.

Nama Fiji says the brand's presence on Oh Glow HK represents a shared vision for promoting sustainable beauty practices while delivering premium skincare solutions to consumers in the Asian market.

Nama Fiji Managing Director Debra Sadranu says the launch marks an exciting milestone in the brand’s strategic journey and commitment to expansion in Asia.

Nama Fiji skincare products have been sold in Luxury Five Star Hotels and Spas throughout Fiji for over 15 years.

Women harvesters spend up to 8 hours in the water, 3 days a week, hand picking the wild Nama "sea grapes", which are then used to make the skincare products.

Nama Fiji says the product range was designed to provide lasting hydration and nutrition to all layers of the skin to promote a radiant, healthy complexion.

Sadranu says leveraging Oh Glow HK’s platform, Nama Fiji aims to introduce its innovative skincare brand to skincare enthusiasts in Hong Kong who appreciate their brand's sustainability focus and is a testament to the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional results that go hand in hand with a deep dedication to environmental and social responsibility.

Sadranu says Oh Glow HK’s commitment to curating luxury beauty, skincare, and lifestyle brands that share similar values perfectly aligns with Nama Fiji's ethos, and its representation on the platform reflects the Fiji Made brand’s determination to share its amazing story with the Asia market.

PTI China Head of Exports Yolanda Jiang highlighted the potential for Pacific brands to thrive in the Asian market.

She says this is a milestone achieved by a Pacific business, not just in terms of protecting the brand but also enhancing its visibility, and PTI China is keenly aware that when a brand receives official recognition for its quality and commitment, it builds trust with consumers, which will spark more discussions and trade opportunities for the brand.

She further says they aim to utilize high-valued exhibition platforms such as COSMOPROF - a leading B2B event in the Asia-Pacific beauty industry, to convey Nama Fiji’s unique and innovative products, and commitment to sustainability, for collaboration and business opportunities with key importers in the Asia market.

She adds this will also serve as a foundation to increase the exposure of the Nama Fiji brand.

In congratulating NAMA Fiji, PTI China’s Trade Commissioner Mona Mato says brand protection is crucial for Pacific businesses as it safeguards business identity, reputation, and uniqueness and builds brand loyalty with customers.

Mato says they have worked with NAMA Fiji on their trademark protection, and they are pleased with this great outcome where the NAMA brand can communicate their brand values, beliefs, and purpose through their trademark, and they are looking forward to working with other Pacific businesses on their trademarks.

Nama Fiji is selling four of their best-selling products on Oh Glow HK, which include the Nama Fiji Gel Serum, Nama Fiji Face Cream, Nama Fiji Body Lotion, and Nama Fiji Eye Cream.
