Students of Naleba and Naqere Youth Training Centres were urged to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, and service as they embark on their future endeavours, emphasizing their role as the nation's future leaders. While officiating at their first ever cadet passout parade at the Fiji National Youth Training Center, Minister of Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru says some students will follow what they have learnt during training and go on to serve in the armed forces and others might follow paths into agriculture or carpentry.

Saukuru says no matter what the students choose, they need to remember that there are many ways to serve the country. He commended the students of the Naleba and Naqere Youth Training Centers for their exceptional commitment, discipline, and dedication throughout their training, showcasing the potential and promise of Fiji's youth.

He extended his heartfelt congratulations to each student for their outstanding performance and dedication, expressing confidence in their ability to achieve great things in the future.

Saukuru thanked the Manager of the two Training Centers, Reshmi Prasad, for her visionary leadership in implementing the cadet training program in schools, breaking barriers, and paving the way for future generations of young leaders.

He also expressed gratitude to the military force staff and instructors for their role in training the students.
