Fijian Drua Women's Captain Karalaini Naisewa.

As the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women prepare for their quest to complete a three-peat in the Super Rugby Women’s competition, captain Karalaini Naisewa says they are coming into the game confident and they can do their best.

While speaking about their 60-21 defeat at the hands of finalist, the NSW Waratahs in the second round, Naisewa they were not as fit back then and the weather was so hot.

She says they never want to blame the weather but it is just how they trained.

With Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka expected to attend the final this afternoon, Naisewa says it will be a big boost for them because they have never had that kind of support for them at home.

She hopes supporters will come out in numbers this afternoon and they are excited to see them.

Naisewa adds they would like to bring that title home and dedicate this to them.

Meanwhile, Bitila Tawake who was the captain of the team that won their first ever title in 2022 and retained it last year has been named in the run on team after she made a return following a stint with the Chiefs in the Super Rugby Aupuki competition.

The Drua Women take on the Waratahs at 4 this afternoon.
