Training for football players is expected to improve as McDonald’s Fiji has donated 1,500 balls to Fiji Football Association. Fiji FA says the initiative will ensures that each ball finds its way to the most promising players, enabling them to hone their skills beyond traditional training environments.

Fiji FA Technical Director Timo Jankowski says the sponsorship will allow players to work additional at home on their skills.

Jankowski says the McDonalds Skill Challenge further amplifies the impact of this initiative, offering a platform where the best players are rewarded with a special ball.

He says this innovative approach of blending sponsorship and skill development, aligns seamlessly with Fiji FA’s vision to giving back to the community.

He adds that McElrath's pivotal role in steering this initiative ensures that McDonald's leaves an indelible mark on the future of football in Fiji, not just by sponsoring balls, but by helping Fiji FA in nurturing a culture of skill enhancement and recognizing the brilliance of emerging players.
