Sesoni Matea, Sairusi Wara, Tasere Valu, Kinivuwai Nacagilevu, Josefa Boa and Joseph Tearawa are the six outstanding students who have recently graduated as prison officers.

They have completed their correctional training and are now serving at the Nasinu Corrections Center in Nasinu, Suva.

The Ministry of Youths says before joining the Nasinu Corrections Center, all six were members of the prestigious Fiji National Youth Brass Band, showcasing their talent and dedication to music.

They say their commitment to excellence has now transitioned into their new roles as prison officers, where they will continue to serve their community with utmost professionalism and integrity.

The Valelevu Youth Training Center takes great pride in nurturing the potential of its students and providing them with the necessary skills and guidance to succeed in life.

The success of the individuals is a testament to the centre's commitment to empowering young individuals and helping them realise their full potential.

The Ministry say their dedication, discipline and passion will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of those they serve and contribute to the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders within our society.

The Valelevu Youth Training Center remains committed to providing quality education and training to young individuals, equipping them with the necessary skills to become productive members of society.
