Manager and Assistant Principal Lekima Nasau

The Marist Brothers High School under 17 rugby team is anticipating an aggressive final against Ratu Kadavulevu School this Saturday and will march into this game with respect and humility for RKS.

This was echoed by their team Manager and Assistant Principal Lekima Nasau as they prepare for the finals this week.

Nasau says they are going back to the drawing board, learning from their weaknesses and executing accordingly in the final.

He says he believes with the depth of talent in his side they can match the fast pace, and very aggressive style of rugby that RKS showcased during the semifinals last week.

Nasau says the boys have trained hard to reach this stage and being the only senior team from Marist to qualify for the final they will have to play smart rugby until the final whistle.

In other finals, in the under-14 grade, Ratu Kadavulevu School will play MGM High School, Marist Brothers High School will take on Suva Grammar School in the under-15, Lelean Memorial School will play Suva Grammar in the under-16, and Lami High School will take on QVS in the under 19.

QVS will take on Nasinu in the under-18 final. In the Weet-Bix Raluve competition, Niusawa Secondary School will play Sigatoka Methodist College in the under-16 final. At the same time, Natabua High School will take one Adi Cakobau School in the under-18 final. All these matches will also be played at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
