Lambert House won the Marist Old Boys Bazaar that was held over the weekend after raising a total of $10,100.

The MOB bazaar was held at Saint Thomas Secondary School in Lautoka.

Community projects were conducted like the painting of classrooms in Saint Thomas Secondary School and the Catholic church as well as these were part of the three-day event.

While officiating at the event, Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Head of Athletics Performance Nacanieli Cawanibuka says it was an honour to be back talking to his former schoolmates and teachers who helped shape the person that he is today.

Cawanibuka says sports has played a crucial role in transforming the lives of individuals and he is proud to see former students of Marist come through the system and make it big on the stage.

He says the values and simplicity taught by the Brothers were evident in the way the way they carried themselves in camp.

Cawanibuka says the comradeship and humble nature seen in former students coming into the professional setups, especially the national side, make him proud to be an old boy.

He stressed the importance of healthy living amongst families and the need to have a training programme to combat Non-Communicable Diseases and lifestyle diseases.

Cawanibuka reiterates that health is wealth.
