Koroibete and Lomani to start on the wing for the Rebels against the Blues

Fiji-born Marika Koroibete and Frank Lomani will start for the Rebels when they take on the Blues in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman competition tomorrow.

Melbourne Rebels’ Interim-Head Coach, Kevin Foote says they will be using the strength of Koroibete in this competition.

Koroibete will start on the left-wing while Lomani is on the right-wing.

Rebels’ skipper, Matt To’omua will partner with Joe Powell at the halves for the ninth consecutive match while Campbell Magnay and Stacey Ili will get another chance to combine in the midfield.

Isi Naisarani will miss tomorrow night's match due to a three-match ban for a red card offense during their 33-14 victory over the Waratahs in Round 5 of the Super Rugby Australia.

The Rebels will face the Blues at 9.45pm tomorrow.

In other matches, the Highlanders will host the Reds at 7.05 tonight, the Hurricanes will meet the Waratahs at 9.45 tonight, the Crusaders will play the Brumbies at 7.05pm tomorrow and the Chiefs take on the Western Force at 11.55pm tomorrow.
