Fijians Samu Kerevi and Mark Nawaqanitawase both scored a try each for the Wallabies but it was not enough as their side went down fighting 34-31 to Argentina in round 2 of their Rugby Championship clash in Sydney last night.

Kerevi scored in the 71st minute while Nawaqanitawase scored four minutes later after intercepting the ball 5 metres from their own try line to sprint 95 metres down the field untouched to score the try that seemed like was going to gift the Wallabies a win.

The host gave the game away in the last 2 minutes after holding a 31-27 lead as Argentina’s number 8 Juan Martin Gonzalez dived over the try line in the 78th minute with the conversion from fullback Emiliano Boffelli to steal the win.

Wallabies coach Eddie Jones was seen losing his composure in the coaching box and was also seen ripping off his headset and slamming it onto the desk in front of him.

With the Bledisloe Cup match against the All Blacks coming up, Jones will have a daunting task of trying to secure at least a win before they head to the Rugby World Cup in September.

The Wallabies will host the All Blacks on the 29th of this month at 9.45pm while the Springboks face the Pumas on the 30th at 3.05am.
