Inspire Pacific is encouraging juveniles and youth to never lose hope and always reach out for help as they focus on bringing back juveniles to their community and society through their Pacific Integration Programme.

While launching the programme, the organization says they have been working with the juveniles for the last 4 years to bring them back to society through effective ways such as education which benefits them and their family.

They say at the moment they are only able to work with a limited number of 15 boys however, the need for boys in the community is greater.

The organization says to grow their teams and expand their facilities, one of their limitations is funding, therefore they encourage churches and sports clubs to show support so that we see many people getting the help they need.

While speaking at the launch of the programme, Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Sashi Kiran highlighted that while we see our children on the streets, there are so many children neglected in the villages and in the rural areas who are affected by drugs and the conflicts they go through.

She says life is not easy for them as they get easily judged and bullied as well.

Kiran says each of them has the potential to grow as many of them come from compromised families and rural areas.

Kiran says she is also grateful for the positive parenting and the role model that the organization has developed and the love they show and give to these children.

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players, Vilive Miramira, Michael Naitokani and two development players also came to mingle with the boys in the programme, and later took them out to play rugby at Albert Park.
