The highest turnout has been seen with more than 115 schools registered on the 2022 USP Open Day.

This is the highest number of school registrations.

USP’s Marketing and Communications Director Jenies Mudiliar says this year's Open Day was one of the most looked forward to events of the university since the pandemic and the whole purpose of the day is for students to take part and explore the studies, programmes, courses and other opportunities provided such as extra-curricular activities and campus life.

She says USP is about providing a holistic learning experience with a wide range of staff and students from different countries as many students from the western and northern divisions will be pursuing their studies from the Laucala Campus with a growing number of students enrolling on Pacific TAFE and foundation studies.

Mudiliar also reminds people that the provisional applications for semester 1 2023 are open till January.

However, Inoke Kautia of Nasinu Secondary School says the Open Day has allowed him to explore and learn about the programs and courses provided by the university.

Kautia who wishes to pursue his career in science says he is excited and looking forward to starting his journey next year.
