SODELPA MP, Aseri Radrodro is urging the government to be more creative in opening up more opportunities for the Fijian people.

While responding to the President Jioji Konrote’s opening address, Radrodro says it is well and good that the digital platforms are widely accessible, however, the government must be courageous in supporting innovations that are adaptable to any kind of climate that we can expect. He says the onus is on the leaders to be more expansive in the way that they deal with issues that will necessarily allow the people and the nation to win in the battle against COVID-19.

Radrodro adds as a nation we have shown our resilience over time and we do not know how long the tourism industry will remain at a standstill but one thing we do know is that we are presented with the opportunity to innovate our domestic market.

Radrodro urges the government to have the guts to provide money to the people.

He also highlighted that the pandemic has sent most of the expatriates back home and this has given way for the government to utilize the skills of our local labour force.
