The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will feed on the good decisions made during their last game against the Queensland Reds in Suva and hopefully capitalize on every opportunity they get against the Highlanders in Dunedin today that will determine if they will secure a quarter-final spot this season.

The Drua made history by reaching the quarter-finals in their second season of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific last year.

Drua captain and hooker Tevita Ikanivere told fijivillage News that decisions will depend on the scenarios that are thrown at them, and he is hopeful he will make the right decision on the field today.

With the Drua just needing a win to secure their place in the playoffs, getting any points available will be crucial.

The Drua has won a few games with the boots of fly-half Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and utility back Kemu Valetini, but the captain is leaving those things to the specialist.

The Drua will take on the Highlanders at 2.05pm today in Dunedin in a must-win match to maintain their spot in the top 8 of the overall Super Rugby Pacific points table and a chance to move up to 7th place.

If the Drua loses to the Highlanders today, then it will be a battle between them, the Force and the Crusaders, for a playoff spot next week.

Looking at the points table, the Blues have moved up to first place despite their loss to the Crusaders, the Crusaders have moved up to 10th place, equalling their points with the Force, who is in ninth place with 19 points.

The Drua is in 8th place with 23 points.
