The first witness in the trial of a former senior executive of a publicly listed company, has told the court that he did not see any glass windows or doors looking into the CEO's office.

The trial of the former senior executive began before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili this afternoon where the man faces 3 counts of indecent assault.

Detective Sergeant Gasio Rokodulu, a crime scene photographer, also told the court that he was instructed by the investigating officer to take photos of the reception area, the CEO's office, the board room and the basement.

During cross examination, Rokodulu said he does not recall seeing glass doors or windows on either side of the lift when he entered the office.

Rokodulu also told the court that he is aware that these photos were taken a year after the alleged incident occurred.

The Detective Sergeant said he was not aware that the office was being renovated from the 13th of November, 2019.

Meanwhile, a victim gave evidence in closed court this afternoon.

Upon the application of the prosecution earlier today, the court has ordered name suppression and closed court hearing when the two victims give evidence.

The defence lawyer's application for the former senior executive to be permitted to testify in closed court was also granted by Chief Magistrate Ratuvili.

The alleged incidents happened in 2019.

The two victims had alleged that the former senior executive had indecently assaulted them.

The trial will continue in the Suva Magistrates Court tomorrow.
