Fijians using Legal Aid services to benefit from faster services

Fijians using Legal Aid services will now have faster access to their services as the Commission has now signed up to Telecom Fiji Limited’s Fiber network.

Commission Director, Shahin Ali says with high-speed internet, they are hoping to serve Fijians, especially people who are in vulnerable situations and are not able to come to the commission in person.

Ali says they can now do so by accessing the Commission’s online services through its web application, website, email, or social media platforms.

He says Fijians who visit their outlets in person will also benefit from this as the information flow will become faster within the office.

Meanwhile, Telecom Fiji Limited CEO Charles Goundar says the new fiber-based network will ensure that the Legal Aid team across its 19 offices in Fiji is supported by a fully managed, leading ICT solution to help give the team high speed access to essential documentation and information on a 24/7 basis.

He says this is their way of supporting the Commission’s mission to better serve its customers.
