The Flying Fijians will be attempting to win their sixth Pacific Nations Cup title when they take on Samoa, Tonga and a strong Australia A side next month.

Fiji is the most successful team in the competition having claimed five PNC titles, including four in a row between 2015 to 2018.

Fiji and Tonga have competed in all 14 editions of the tournament to date, while Samoa has made 13 appearances, missing only the 2013 Pacific Nations Cup.

The Junior All Blacks claimed the title on each of the three occasions they competed in the tournament, in 2006, 2007 and 2009.

Japan and Samoa have won the title three times each, while Tonga and Australia A will be aiming to win the tournament for the first time this year.

Fiji’s first training session was done this morning at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes.

Fiji’s first PNC match will be against Tonga at 3.30pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
