The Chinese Trade Exhibition is open to public today and tomorrow at the Vodafone Arena.

He says that Fiji’s primary exports to China include mineral water, wood chips, sugarcane, noni, timber and fish.

Ali says the complementary nature of the two countries' trade indicates a lot of room for expanding collaboration.

He also highlighted the growing recognition of kava in the Chinese market, alongside other commodities such as pearl, precious stones, and marine products like sea cucumber, which are well-suited for Chinese consumers.

The Deputy General for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Yan Chenhui says Fiji and China has enjoyed 49 year of bilateral ties.
