The thrilling Fiji Bitter Nacula 7s tournament is back for its second year, and it promises to be a sensational extravaganza of 7s rugby.

Organised as part of the Fiji Bitter 7s Series, this tournament is more than just a sporting event - it is a celebration of local talent, a powerful tool for community empowerment, and a boost to the local economy.

The 7s Series is renowned for its commitment to not only showcasing top-class rugby but also for its impact on local communities.

Paradise Beverages General Manager Mike Spencer says they are on a mission to celebrate the incredible talent of local players and teams, making sure they get the recognition they earned.

Their ultimate objective is to raise the bar for every tournament, following the blueprint they have crafted to guarantee that each event is nothing short of exhilarating. Nacula Rugby President, Mosese Susu says their sustainability plan last year included infrastructure where they repaired public facilities and improved social and health amenities.

They have invested in building materials and even acquired a ride-on mower.

Altogether the value back to their community through the tournament was worth $5,000 to $10,000.

They are also dedicated to growing sports in all aspects of life. This year the Nacula Rugby community is even more committed to their sustainability plan.

Susu says their plan for this year and beyond is to help provide better sporting facilities with the assistance of the government and other stakeholders.

They also aim to equip themselves with modern training equipment to enhance the performance of the players.

The Fiji Bitter Nacula 7s will be held from next Thursday to Saturday.
