Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem.

The Fijian Elections Office has so far served over 56,800 voters through their Nationwide Voter Registration and Awareness Drive which is underway till April 2nd.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says they have recorded 6,129 new registrations which is a very encouraging number.

He says they have so far covered 429 villages and 67 settlements.

Saneem says they have conducted polling venue assessments for over 350 and they will continue to do this in the coming weeks.

The Supervisor has also revealed that they have so far conducted the training of 9,718 election officials and have processed the allowance of 8,733 officials.

He says there are some officials who are yet to receive their allowance despite attending the training.

Saneem says the issues is with regards to the verification of details with some of these people.

He says either their bank account details is incorrect, their TIN number is incorrect or their FNPF number is either missing or incorrect.

Saneem says they will not be able to process the payment if these details are missing.

He says these people can go to the FEO website and search for their EVR number to find out what the issue is and they can correct the details so their payments can be processed. You can call 9926075, 9926077, 9926079, 9926085, 8917340 and 2234639 for more information.
