Excitement was in the air as former Suva Grammar School students stormed the yard at O’Reillys Nightclub in Suva for their 60th +4 Jubilee Celebration organised by the 90s decade.

Dorothy Blakelock, the representative for the 90s decade in the Grammar Ex-Students Association shared her joy and excitement with fijivillage News and said that meeting her friends after 30 years was overwhelming and brought so much closure.

Blakelock says the fun programme began in the morning with their breakfast at Tanoa Plaza, followed by the night out which included the bus ride in the Nasese bus.

Georgina Vugakoto Batisarisari could not contain her emotions meeting up with friends who came from the USA, United Kingdom and Australia for the weeklong celebrations.

Vugakoto says she is the fourth of the six siblings who attended Suva Grammar and during her time her parents never allowed them to attend any other school but Grammar.

Georgina is the sister of former Fiji Netball captain, Vasiti Vugakoto.

Vasiti's daughter Matila Vocea is part of the current Fiji Pearls netball team.
