EFL hoping to fully restore power to all parts of Fiji by Sunday

Enegy Fiji Limited says they are hoping to fully restore power supply to all parts of Fiji by this Sunday.

EFL Chief Executive Officer, Hasmukh Patel says they have released tentative restoration times for areas around the country still without power due to fallen power poles, fallen power lines and damage to other power infrastructure.

Patel stresses that these timelines are tentative and subject to change due to the weather condition, access to affected areas and the extent of damage to the power network.

Nausori

80% of the areas in Nausori have their power supply restored at this stage and Energy Fiji Limited says areas still affected will have power supply progressively restored by Monday.

The areas still without power in Nausori are Navuso, Naqeledamu, Vusuya, Waituri Settlement, Veiwalai, Dravo, Matanikorobau Road, Caucata Road, Kiuva Village, & Rewa Delta

Lami,Suva and Nasinu areas have had 100% Power restored.

Navua, Pacific Harbour and Deuba

People living in Navua, Pacific Harbour and Deuba will have their power supply progressively restored by Wednesday 15th April 2020.

The power supply has been restored to 65% of the areas in Navua, Pacific Harbour and Deuba.

The areas still affected include Waidradra Village, Tokotoko, Naitata, Yanuca Place, Nakaulevu, Mau Village, Vunirewa, Wainidawa Settlement Natabua Settlement Balebale Settlement, Sulosulo Settlement, Waidroka Bay, Korovisilou, Vuananiu, Nakelemusu, Matanipusi.

Korovou

EFL has so far restored power supply to 70 percent of Korovou.

Wainivesi, Delasui, Nayavu, Matacula Village, Wainikavula Village, Nayawasara Village, Vunasalusalu, Nairoro Settlement, Nukutobici Settlement, Burerua Village, Nabulagi, Waivou Farm, WAF Namau, Naiwavoki, Dakuinuku, Lodoni, RKS, QVS, Natovi, Dawasamu, & Nabukadra can expect their power supply to be progressively restored from Monday to Friday the 17th April.

Vunidawa, Naitasiri

EFL has restored power to 40 percent of Vunidawa, Naitasiri.

Areas in Vunidawa still affected can expect their power supply to be progressively restored by Thursday 16th April 20 .

WESTERN DIVISION

Energy Fiji Limited says power supply will be progressively restored to areas affected in Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki and Nadarivatu by this week.

Nadi

Only 65% of areas in Nadi have power supply restored and is expected to be progressively restored by Friday.

Areas still affected include part of parts of Votualevu, Mulomulo, Yavuna, & Nausori Highlands,Saunaka, Nakavu & Narewa , Korovuto, Nawai, Navo, Sikituru, Malolo, Arolevu, Vuniyasi, Malakua, Maqalevu, Navutulevu & Tiliva Nadele, Masimasi, Sabeto, Korobebe, Keolaiya, Naboutini, Nawaicoba, Marasa, Mate Road, Tunalia, Nalavo, Uciwai, Malamala, Amgali, Nabila, Sariwaya, Momi, Nagana, Waireba, Vunamoli, Vagadra and Naiwaicoba Nursing Stations.

Lautoka

95% of areas in Lautoka now have power and is expected to be progressively restored from today 13th April till 19th April Saturaday.

Areas still affected include parts of Part of Drasa Avenue, & Wailoko and EFL Repeater at Lololo

Ba

70% of the power supply has been restored in Ba. Areas still affected are expected to have power supply progressively restored by next Thursday.

The affected areas include Namau, Navala, Nakoroboya, Matavelo, Veisaru, Nalotawa, Yaloku, Nanuku Village & Babriban

Tavua

35% of areas in Tavua have power supply restored and areas still affected are expected to have power supply progressively restored by Monday.

The affected areas in Tavua include part of Yasiyasi, Matalevu, part of Natawa, Matacawa, part of Tagitagi, Maqere, Tavualevu, Vatutavui, Mataniwai, Nabuna, Rakavidi, Davota, part of Rabulu, part of Yaqara, Nananu, Naseyani, Tuidreke, Natokita snd Waikubukubu.

Rakiraki

25% of the power supply has been restored in Rakiraki and progressive power restoration is expected to start by next Thursday in Rakiraki.

The areas still without power are Wairuku, Vitawa, Naivuvuni, Vunitogoloa, Nanuku, Rewasa, Narara, Korotale, Nakorokula, Navolau, Navunidawa, Naimuaimada, Vaidoko, Naboutolu, Nokonoko, Madhuvani, Saivou, Dokanavatu, Korotiki, Nanukuloa, Naiserelagi, Wailevu, Navunibitu, Ra Maternity Hospital, Tokio, Barotu, Ra, Waimicia, Vunikavikaloa, Rokoroko, Jaina, Navuniivi, Namunamu, Matawailevu, Nakorovou, Mataso, Sobasoba, Waimaro Health Centre, Nausori, Ellington, Nagana, Burenitu, Navitilevu, Nasavusavu, Nauto, Toki, Tobu, Dama, Nalawa, Rokovuaka, Navesau, Nalaba, Nailawa,Roma, Mataveikai, Nabalabala, Nativi, Maniyava, Narauyaba, Vuniyaumunu, Drauniivi Settlement, Naivutu, Naraviravi, Navaivai, Drekeniwai, Vunibaka, Tokaimalo, Naqoro, Narewa, Vitawa & Volivoli,

Sigatoka

Only 25% of areas in Sigatoka have power supply and power restoration in Sigatoka is expected to be restore power supply till the 19th of April .
