Three students who were allegedly found drunk and loitering were arrested for breaching the curfew last night.

Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho says two of the students aged 15 and 16 years old who were all found drunk and threw stones at houses in the Natabua area in Lautoka.

A 14-year-old student was also found loitering in the Muanikoso area in Nasinu.

Qiliho says the inclusion of three students arrested for curfew breach over the last 24 hours is a concern and he is asking parents and guardians to make sure everyone is home before and during the curfew.

32 people were arrested for breaching the curfew in the last 24 hours.

Qiliho also says a 29-year-old man was also arrested for assaulting two officers and resisting arrest in Lami.

He says this man also damaged Police vehicles in Lami.

The man was allegedly drunk at the time of the incident.
