The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua is looking forward to making tonight’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Culture Round match against the Western Force a special one.

Fijian Drua Head of Athletic Performance, Nacanieli Cawanibuka says tonight is a great opportunity for the players and the team just to look back at who they are and what makes them special as Fijians.

He says since the inception of the Fijian Drua three years ago, the players have not only come together with the staff and embedded themselves into the competition, but also the individuals are establishing themselves, adding and contributing to the culture that makes them Fijian Drua.

Cawanibuka says our culture as Fijians, we bring something special and also look back to who and what we are as a people.

Cawanibuka says the culture that makes them who they are has been there from the start and they are the three pillars - integrity, relentlessness and discipline which form a very important part of their culture.

He says it also reminds them and anchors them in their performance environment and also as individuals away from it.

The Drua will take on the Force at 11.55 tonight in Perth.

In other games tonight, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 4.35pm, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm and the Waratahs will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm.

Meanwhile, in the matches played last night, the Chiefs thrashed Moana Pasifika 43-7 and the Reds overcame the Rebels 26-22.
