The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are looking forward to a physical battle against the Waratahs this weekend and according to coach Mick Byrne, they know the visitors are over and above the tackle percentages of the teams they have talked about that they would meet.

Byrne says they have been working hard on their defensive systems and they are probably looking at what they are doing with the ball and if they can ask the questions of the opposition.

He says they need to turn up a bit on their defence and they worked hard on that in their training sessions this week.

Byrne says their strategy does not change as they got 100 percent in their lineout last week and they are going to repeat that this week.

Both teams are coming into this match with only 1 win each after 4 rounds of the competition with the Waratahs sitting in 9th place on the overall standings and the Drua on 10th. Meanwhile, it will be a doubleheader this weekend in Lautoka as the Fijian Drua Men will take on the Waratahs at 1.05pm and the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women will play the Waratahs at 3.35pm in round 2 of the Super Rugby Women’s competition.

In other Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific matches this weekend, the Hurricanes will host the Rebels at 6.05pm Friday, the Brumbies will take on Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm Friday, the Chiefs will take on the Highlanders at 3.35pm Saturday, the Blues will play the Crusaders at 6.05pm Saturday and Western Force will take on the Reds at 8.35pm Saturday.

In the Super Rugby Women’s matches, the Brumbies will take on the Rebels at 6.05pm Friday and the Western Force will play the Reds at 6.05pm Saturday.
