Defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific champion the Crusaders not only believe that they can make the top eight, but they are also adamant that they can still defend their title for the eighth consecutive year.

As they look forward to playing just their third home game this season, they have roped in two All Blacks into their match day 23 squad for their round 10 clash against the Rebels tomorrow, and they are captain Scott Barrett and centre David Havili.

The Crusaders will need to win their remaining games for a chance to make it into the top eight and Havili, in his statement, says he is sure they can still make the impossible possible.

He asks why he would turn up if he did not think they could win.

He adds the competitive mindset that they have is what keeps everyone coming back and, ultimately, they still feel like they can win.

Coach Rob Penney says, unfortunately, this level of pressure on the group is not great because it hinders growth and development.

He adds but it's money in the bank, cause it is going to bear fruit at some point.

The Crusaders are currently sitting at the bottom of the table with only 1 win from 8 games so far this season.

The Crusaders will take on the Rebels at 7.05pm tomorrow in Christchurch.

Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on Moana Pasifika at 2.05pm Saturday at Churchill Park Lautoka.

In other Super Rugby Pacific matches this week, the Waratahs will take on the Chiefs at 9.35pm tomorrow, the Brumbies will play the Hurricanes at 4.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will host the Force at 7.05pm Saturday and the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.35pm Saturday.
