Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says colours do not judge or discriminate against the people playing with them and neither should people because we are all one.

While speaking at the Holi celebrations at My Suva Park today, Bainimarama says the beauty of Holi is that the beautiful colors when combined, cross all barriers and come together to be equal and spread happiness.

He says Holi is definitely one of his favorite festivals in the Hindu calendar.

Bainimarama says our unity is truly our strength and he is grateful for it everyday.

The Prime Minister says Holi signifies the beginning of spring when nature rejuvenates and plants start to bloom again.

He says there is nothing more beautiful and inspiring than new beginnings and adds Fiji is ready for its new beginning as well.

Bainimarama says Government is committed to being stronger than ever and building a modern, diverse and sustainable economy.

Indian High Commissioner to Fiji, Palaniswamy Subramanyan Karthigeyan says Holi also symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

Karthigeyan says Fiji is a special friend of India and the two countries share a heritage going back 142 years.
