There are a few ways to make your future possible - go to church, be obedient, listen to your parents and elders, humility, be respectful and share and care with the less fortunate next to you.

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere highlighted this after more than 100 Sunday School teachers, students and parents of Waiyavi Methodist Circuit, Lautoka visited the State House yesterday.

The children visited the State House as part of their New Year’s field trip and had the opportunity to tour the State House, learn about its history and meet the President.

The children sang chorus of gospel songs that rang through the corridors of the State House.

While thanking the children for singing Gospel songs, the President advised them to embrace their talent and shared his visit to the orphanage homes last week for a Christmas gift presentation to the children.

Ratu Wiliame says these children are less fortunate as they are not living with their own families and parents however they are all children of God and God has given them talents for you to utilise as they get older.

He encouraged the students to envision themselves as the President or the Prime Minister of this country.

He adds these values will help them be happy and successful in life.

The President also encouraged them to work towards their goals despite the circumstances.

He says to envision their future as they progress in their education from primary to secondary and to tertiary.
