Defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific champions Crusaders are heading into this week’s clash against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua with an objective of improving their performance from their round 2 match against the Highlanders last week in Melbourne.

Crusaders Forwards Coach Dan Perrin says their 52-15 win last week was pleasing but there are areas of their game that they need to improve on.

Perrin says their areas of focus will be on discipline and completing their sets with the ball in hand as there were a few opportunities they had in last week’s game that they did not take advantage of and would have been put under pressure by any other team.

Perrin also confirmed All Blacks utility back David Havili’s return to the number 12 jersey after playing at fullback in round one.

He says it will be great to see Havili back in action this weekend as the veteran center brings a lot of experience with him into the squad.

Perrins says they will be naming a strong team to play the Drua as it is going to be a tough test because the game will be in the afternoon and the heat will be something they will try and adapt to.

He says this weekend’s clash is going to be a big contest as the Fijian Drua will be playing in front of their home crowd.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders team arrived into the country on Wednesday.

The Crusaders will take on the Fijian Drua at 3.35pm tomorrow at Churchill Park.

In other matches this week, the Chiefs will take on the Highlanders at 6.05pm today, the Rebels will meet the Waratahs at 8.35 tonight, the Brumbies will play the Reds at 8.35pm tomorrow and the Western Force will meet Moana Pasifika at 11pm tomorrow.
