Police are concerned about some people still trying to move in and out of the containment zone borders, and are calling on people to call 917 if they notice any such breaches.

We have received confirmation that the Nadali and Vunimono area has been fully barricaded and Police are also monitoring all the shortcuts after reports received by Legend FM from the ground yesterday that some people were moving in and out of the Nadali area to go to Nausori Town.

Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong stresses that the Nadali/Vunimono area is a screening zone and people are not allowed to go in and out of that area.

Police are also calling on people to call them on 917 if they see people trying to breach the containment borders by sea.

Spokesperson, Savaira Tabua says the Water Police are keeping a close watch near Natovi and along Lami.

Reports have been received of speeding boats in the waters and the Water Police will ensure anyone breaching the COVID-19 health regulations are taken to task.
